Registration for the
DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR)
2017-2018 Winter Programs is OPEN!

Thrifty D.C. Friends, I just registered my daughter for the Learn to Swim for Children classes.  I paid a total of $20 for two (2) sessions: January 9 – February 1 & February 13 – March 8, 2018.
The swim classes are twice a week.  That’s $1.25 per class!!

D.C. residents eager to get out of the cold and enjoy DPR’s offerings can enroll in sports activities such as basketball for adults and youth, and fencing; fitness classes including Pilates and weight training; as well as enrichment programs for all ages. There are new cutting-edge classes like Piloxing and Qi Gong and so much more.  Included are also senior and aquatic programs.

The full listing of winter programs is available online, but an account must be created for each participant to register for a program.  Registration must be completed online. Credit cards will not be accepted at DPR sites.

To register for a program:

  • Visit DPR’s Registration Portal
  • Select an age group
  • Browse location and program type
  • Select a program, add to cart, and proceed to checkout
