Everyone looks up!  People around the world have always looked to the sky but they don’t always see the same things.  Bring your family to the Museum to experience how different people study the sky and hear their stories.

FREE New Program – Join the Howard University Hospital “My Garden Project”

My Garden Project is a free program sponsored by Howard University College of Medicine, Howard University Hospital and the Doctors of Howard University for Washington D.C. families with elementary school children designed to teach children about the importance of healthy eating and the joy of watching fruits and vegetables grow.

Howard University physicians will plant a free garden at your home or apartment that will then be tended by your child. The gardens, made up of tomatoes, squash, cucumbers or other vegetables, are largely self-sufficient. They primarily only need watering during particularly long periods of drought.
